March Sunshine

Can you believe it is March already? Time sure flies when you are having fun, or when you are building, remodeling or just busy with life in general. Around here we are obviously still finishing construction but mostly just cosmetics at this point. We are fine tuning as some would say and touching up paint, decorating (finally) and fixing nail pops in the walls! Anyone else out there build recently and have nail pops in the drywall already? So frustrating but it is what it is. Hopefully we have the spots sanded and touch up the paint in no time! It is a dreary raining day here in PA so I figured now would be the perfect time to show you some great snapshots of the property in the summer and the sunshine. We love our little slice of heaven and we are so blessed to be living here. So very blessed.

After it became our yard. Charlie was standing guard.

That little opening isn’t so little now. This is at the start of the excavation for our new dream home on the farm.

We are moving on to the outside now that the weather has started to break and we can get outside and find the yard under the snow and building materials. Planning our front porch and porch furniture of course. One step at a time we will work on fixing up the yard but the weather in PA is usually pretty rainy for the first few months of spring so we will probably wait until summer to get rid of the huge pile of dirt in the front yard. Soon. Until then, I will continue to plan and decorate every inch of the house! I can’t wait to share with you my latest finds from Home Goods and Kirklands! Stop back tomorrow for all the details!
